The Telangana government has officially cleared the revised DPR for Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase 2. The 70-km expansion connects Shamshabad RGI Airport directly through the Financial District and Gachibowli, while also expanding the network into Old City via Chandrayangutta.
Commuters and property owners along the ORR corridor are expected to benefit from enhanced multimodal transit access.
